Summary

Following Registration and Welcome, we're treated to a concert of secular music, mainly a cappella, from The Oriel Singers in the Chapter House. We then hear from Nia Llewelyn Jones, the cathedral's Singing Development Leader and the director of the girl choristers, about the music in the Cathedral since the girl choristers attained parity with the boys. We're invited to observe the Cathedral Choir's rehearsal before Choral Evensong at 4.30pm. After the service, and by kind permission of the Very Revd Andrew Zihni, Dean of Gloucester Cathedral, we will enjoy refreshments in the Deanery before the gathering comes to a close.
