Recruiting new members of Development Committee

27 May 2021

We are recruiting several new members to our Development Committee: individuals who are passionate about cathedral music to help challenge and assist us in making our charity a success through its communications, marketing and fundraising campaigns.

Cathedral Music Trust is a voice for cathedral music, upholding this integral part of the nation’s cultural heritage by campaigning on behalf of cathedral music and musicians, supporting cathedral choirs and choristers in greatest need, and encouraging the pursuit of excellence in choral and organ music. Harry Christophers, CBE, founder and conductor of The Sixteen, is our President, and actor, presenter, comedian, former chorister and choral scholar Alexander Armstrong is our Ambassador.

Our Development Committee, chaired by Jonathan Macdonald, is responsible for the oversight of and creative engagement with all aspects of the Trust’s communications, fundraising and marketing activity, working closely with our Development Director Natasha Morris. We are committed to expanding the diversity of our volunteers, particularly as regard to gender, age, disability and ethnicity. If you are interested in helping us to pursue our mission to support and develop the vibrant living heritage of cathedral music, we want to hear from you.

Applications in the form of a short expression of interest and a CV should be sent to [email protected] by 5pm on Monday 28 June 2021.
